Arab Health 2014 Summary

(1) Exhibition Overview
The 39th Arab Health Exhibition & Congress was held for 4 days (from Jan. 27th to 30th, 2014) at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. This year, according to the official statistics, Arab Health welcomed the addition of the brand new “Za’abeel 4” hall that accommodated 400 additional exhibitors, bringing together a total of 3,900 exhibiting companies from 64 countries, and 38 country pavilions, all showcased over 65,677m2 of exhibition space. The event’s already established country pavilions, such as the US and Chinese pavilions remain heavyweights in terms of size. The Chinese pavilion has 510 exhibitors in comparison to 420 exhibitors for last year. Arab Health is the largest healthcare exhibition & congress in the Middle East, and the second largest in the world. With the attention on healthcare for global people, Arab Health provides an unparalleled platform with device and reagent for the hospital, laboratory, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation sector to the world’s leading manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors to meet the medical and scientific community from the Middle East and beyond.

MEDLAB is the main medical laboratory and technology event in the Middle East, forming a major part of the Arab Health Exhibition. For MEDLAB at Arab Health 2014, there were 1,600m2 of new space in Hall 8, and more than 420 exhibitors were hosted across 12,000m2 of exhibition space. MEDLAB attracted 20% of the total visitor numbers at Arab Health, adding up to more than 20,000 unique visitors.

(2) Customer Engagement
DAAN GENE was in the booth No. hall 8 8C38. We had engaged the visitors from United Arab Emirates, America, Egypt, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Philippines, and so on. The Middle East visitors accounted for the largest proportion. Most visitors mentioned that they knew about DAAN Gene and they were impressed by our products. Customers approved our company and products with high quality and good service. Most of the visitors were interested in the PCR reagent, ELISA products, DA7600 and AGS9600, especially the auto liquid-based preparation system. Some customers showed great cooperation intention to us.
